CSM Bakery Supplies North America, Schaumburg, Ill., said that in advance of his upcoming retirement, CEO Reinoud Plantenberg will transfer his responsibilities to Bret Weaver effective May 1, 2010.

Weaver currently is president and CEO of H.C. Brill Co. Inc., a Tucker, Ga.-based supplier of frozen thaw-and-serve bakery products, doughs, batters and bakery ingredients to retail in-store bakeries and foodservice operators.

Officials said Weaver joined CSM in 1996 and has held several executive positions involving strategy, business development and general management. Prior to joining CSM, Weaver was president and CEO at Golden Dipt Company, a division of DCA Food Industries Inc.

CSM named Ron Savelli as H.C. Brill president and CEO, effective May 1, 2010.  Savelli joined CSM in 2003 and currently serves as president and CEO of Caravan Ingredients, Lenexa, Kan.  Prior to joining CSM, Savelli was vice president of product development, operational and technical services with New World Restaurant Group (Boston Market, Einstein Brothers).
