Stellar, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based construction, design, engineering and mechanical services firm, said it promoted Mark Sherwood to director of business development.

A 12-year company veteran, Sherwood previously was director of marketing. He now will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic projects. He also will market the company's services in business planning, architecture, engineering, construction and specialty contracting.
