LOGISTICS BRIEFS

Americold Realty Trust, Atlanta, said it plans on August 30 to open a public refrigerated warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah. Officials said the 6.5 million-cubic-foot facility will be fully racked with 21,000 pallet positions, feature convertible rooms with temperatures maintained from -20F to +55F and house 41 dock doors. The building also offers convenient highway and rail access, said Americold.

Industrial Info Resources (IIR), Sugar Land, Texas, said Minneapolis-based Target Corporation plans to build a  retail refrigerated food distribution center in Denton, Texas. The new distribution center will include freezer, cooler, and office space, said IIR.
