In 2005 and 2006, Unilever used its Nutrition Enhancement Program to eliminate the following from its global portfolio:

  • 30,000 tons of trans fats;
  • 7,000 tons of saturated fat;
  • 3,000 tons of sodium; and
  • 17,000 tons of sugars.
