Brioche Pasquier Group acquired a majority stake in Galaxy Desserts.

Brioche Pasquier Group, the largest producer of brioche in the European market, acquired a majority stake in Galaxy Desserts, a producer of individual desserts and pastries. This agreement allows Pasquier to bring its line of baked goods to the American market.

Jean-Yves Charon and Paul Levitan, co-founders of Galaxy Desserts, will retain ownership in the combined venture, and together with president Pascal Pasquier and international director Fabrice Sciumbata from Brioche Pasquier Group, will continue to lead and manage the operation. Galaxy’s headquarters and production facility in Richmond, Calif., will continue to serve as the company’s base of operations.

“We are thrilled to have joined forces with Pasquier and its world-class manufacturing capabilities. We have worked well together for several years, and are thrilled at the partnership. We share the same core values along with a dedication to providing the best desserts and pastries on the market. We are excited for what we will build together in the U.S.,” says Levitan.

“The synergies of our companies-combining Galaxy’s market knowledge and the quality of their products with our industrial and commercial strengths-will enable us to continue to build our business,” says Pasquier.
