EXECS ON THE MOVE

Nestle SA, Vevey, Switzerland, said it promoted 26-year company veteranRobert (Bob) Leonidasto president & CEO forNestle Prepared Foodsand theNestle Bakinggroup, both headquartered in Solon, Ohio. Both units are part of Nestle USA, Glendale, Calif.

Leonidas most recently was president of Nestle Canada for the past four years. There, he was responsible for several Canadian divisions, including Beverages, Confectionery, Stouffer's, Ice Cream, FoodServices, Nestle Purina PetCare, Nestle Waters and Nestle Nutrition.

Leonidas' new responsibilities will include businesses responsible for Stouffer's and Lean Cuisine frozen meals, Hot Pockets and Lean Pockets frozen sandwihces, Buitoni refrigerated and frozen pastas and sauces (including Joseph's Gourmet Pasta & Sauces in Haverhill, Mass.), Nestle Toll House morsels and baking ingredients, refrigerated cookie dough, Nestle Carnation milks and Libby's pumpkin products.

Leonidas began his career with Nestle in 1984 with the company's Libby's division.



Timothy Fallonjoined meat processor and distributorColumbus Foods LLC, Hayward, Calif., as chief executive officer, according to a report in thePortland (Ore.) Business Journal. The Journal noted that Fallon previously was president and general manager of Kettle Foods, a Salem, Ore., potato chip company.

Frozen Edamame bean supplierSeapoint Farms, Huntington Beach, Calif., said it hiredPhilip Siegel  as chief operating officer. Officials said Siegel will oversee Seapoint Farms’ internal and external daily operations, including maintaining quality control over the company’s supply chain from its Far East manufacturing facility to its distribution channels in the United States. In addition, he will handle financial operations for Seapoint Farms, manage personnel and help direct sales and marketing efforts. Prior to joining Seapoint, Siegel was CEO and CFO of Telscape Communications, Inc. He also  has served in executive posts at The Brenner Group, an executive management services firm; and Quality Food Enterprises, Atlanta. Seapoint said Siegel will work closely with CEO Kevin Cross and President Laura Cross.
