Three new varieties include Honey Vanilla, Strawberry Banana and Key Lime.

Similar to YoPlus yogurts already available in supermarkets nationwide, General Mills says YoPlus Light contains a special blend of probiotic cultures and a natural dietary fiber -- but now with 36 percent fewer calories. "The fiber in each cup helps to enhance the role of probiotics by offering additional digestive health benefits."

In addition to the probiotic culture Bifidobacterium lactis Bb-12, YoPlus Light contains the live and active yogurt cultures L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus. It is also a good source of calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D.

"YoPlus Light's delicious flavors, smooth and creamy texture, and the added benefit of probiotics make it a win-win option for someone looking for a lower-calorie yogurt with healthful digestive benefits," said Ryan Stalker, associate marketing manager for YoPlus.

New YoPlus Light is available on grocery store shelves nationwide along with popular YoPlus flavors -- Blueberry Acai (asa'i), Blackberry Pomegranate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Cherry and Peach. Suggested retail price is $2.79 per four-pack of 4-ounce cups.
