Vege USA, LLC, Monrovia, Calif., unveiled a new vegetarian option for any occasion.
Sold under the Vegetarian Plus brand, the new Vegan Ham Roll with a Spiced Plum and Apricot Glaze Sauce a seasonal option year-round.
Made with all-natural ingredients and non-GMO soy, this vegan ham is also free of cholesterol and contains only 7 grams of fat per serving. It is also fully cooked, bakes in about an hour, slices gracefully and can be served warm or cold.
“The moist flavor and firm texture of our vegan ham roll is so close to real ham, your family will want to ask you if it’s truly vegan, but the debate will be forgotten after the first savory bite,” says Tina Soong, operations manager.
The Vegan Ham Roll comes in a 41.2-ounce package with a suggested retail price of $22.95. It will be sold select natural food markets and high-end food retail chains across the United States this holiday season.
