Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ Top 25 Refrigerated Foods Processors report profiles the Top 25 processors in the refrigerated food sector. Processors are ranked by annual net sales and listings.

This report represents Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ best efforts to reflect pertinent sales from all refrigerated channels (prepared foods, entrées and sides, prepared meat and poultry, dairy, bakery and fruits/vegetables). Sales figures and estimates are based on company reports, news releases, market analysts’ reports, industry media and more. Figures exclude shelf-stable products, but may include non-refrigerated sectors, as some companies do not segment refrigerated sales out from frozen. Bag salad sales exclude raw produce. Prepared foods sales include prepared dishes and salads. Fruits and vegetables exclude juice, but dairy does include juice and other non-dairy items.

A special thank you goes to National Provisioner and Dairy Foods, both sister publications, for their research and expertise in the prepared meat and poultry and dairy sections, respectively.

Some inaccurate figures were printed in Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ Top 150 Food Processors (November 2012 issue), particularly in the dairy and meat/poultry categories. The revised charts have been reposted on RFFmag.com. We apologize for the confusion.
