U.S. Energy Services Presents New Sustainability Solutions

Minneapolis-based U.S. Energy Services, an energy management company, offers two new sustainability solutions to help organizations manage their sustainability GreenTrace logostrategy and reduce energy consumption at facilities.

Energy Eye Facility Assessments provides organizations with an objective and comprehensive review of opportunities to reduce energy consumption at facilities. Assessments provide data on baseline energy usage as well as the energy saving potential of the facility. Depending on the level of assessment provided, organizations receive recommendations to improve energy efficiency, ranging from low to no cost opportunities like set point adjustments or behavior changes, to more capital-intensive projects like lighting or motor upgrades. With all the assessments, customers can be confident that they are receiving detailed cost and savings analysis to ensure they are making the right decision for their facility.

Green Trace Sustainability Consulting Services help organizations improve the triple bottom line of economic, environmental and social performance. Strategy Services assist with the development of an overall sustainability strategy, or a more focused carbon mitigation or carbon market compliance strategy. Green Trace can also help with strategy implementation through base lining and benchmarking services for both energy and carbon; reporting services such as metric development and guidance on completing external reporting regimes such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) or the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Transactional services are also available to facilitate the purchase of renewable energy and carbon offsets, and to help organizations monetize the environmental attributes of their own renewable energy projects.

“We’re proud to be expanding our sustainability solutions portfolio,” says Bill Bathe, chief executive officer. “For years, we’ve been saving our customers money by managing their natural gas and electricity spending. Now with additional solutions to help manage energy consumption, customers can see even more return on investment with our suite of services.”
