Crown Equipment Opens 2 Facilities in Louisiana

Crown Equipment, New Bremen, Ohio, opened two company-owned facilities in New Orleans and Shreveport, La., to enhance service to customers in the region. Crown lift truck

“Crown has served customers in Louisiana for more than 25 years,” says Jim Mozer, senior vice president. “These new company-owned branches will allow us to take our customers’ experience to a new level, and provide them with the quality service they expect from Crown.”

The New Orleans branch will feature a fully equipped maintenance shop, battery and charger service, rental fleets, forklift manufacturing and training opportunities for forklift operators and technicians. Both Louisiana locations will provide customers with access to maintenance for any brand of lift truck, as well as warehouse products ranging from a 2-wheel hand truck to a complete warehouse design solution.

“The opening of these two branches is a testament to our commitment to our customers in the region,” said Chris Fogt, general manager of the southwest region. “The whole Crown team, including Kevin Poling, the branch manager for Shreveport, and Dennis Fulmer, our branch manager in New Orleans, has worked tirelessly to get our Louisiana operations running quickly, and we’ve seen a tremendous response from customers who are thankful to have support from Crown’s entire branch network.”

The New Orleans facility is located at 901 South Labarre Road in Metairie, La., and can be reached directly at 504-739-9500. The Shreveport facility at 5205 Interstate Avenue is fully operational and can be reached directly at 318-227-9010.
