Noosa Yoghurt, Bellvue, Colo., introduced Noosa Plain, a distinct yet different twist to "plain" yogurt—no fruit, no honey, just its tangy, smooth, rich yogurt in all its pure unadulterated glory.
Noosa Plain can serve as a far-from-ordinary start to yogurt-based breakfasts, snacks and desserts, such as parfaits, mousses and fruit smoothies, and can serve as a unique ingredient in recipes for dips, salads, spreads, marinades and baked goods.
"We've put our own special Aussie twist on a plain yogurt that is as far from ordinary as the culture from which it comes," says Koel Thomae, co-founder. "We're known for creating a deliciously different kind of yogurt, and we believe our plain flavor will be another huge hit with customers."
Currently, Noosa Plain is available to food service providers with a retail launch pegged for later this year.
