HOMESTYLE FROZEN COOKIE DOUGH

Gourmet Frozen Cookies, Inc., Los Angeles, introduced homestyle frozen cookie dough under its Jen & Joe’s line. This all-natural dough is made with real eggs and butter, no bleached flour, no hydrogenated fats or oils and boasts an 18-month shelf life (frozen). The line comes in Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Wasabi, Snickerdoole, Chocolate Spice, Lemon Drop and Oatmeal Toffee, and is sold 12 frozen cookie dough balls per 12-ounce box.

 

GLUTEN-FREE REFRIGERATED DOUGH

General Mills, Minneapolis, debuted its first-ever line of refrigerated gluten-free dough under the Pillsbury portfolio. The line includes Chocolate Chip Cookie in a 14.3-ounce tub (makes 16 2-inch cookies) with a suggested retail price of $4.49; Thin Crust Pizza in a 13-ounce tub (makes one 10-inch pizza crust) for a suggested retail price of $4.99; and Pie and Pastry in a 15.8-ounce tub (makes two 9-inch pie crusts) for a suggested retail price of $4.99. The whole line is available in most major grocery stores nationwide.

 

GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA DOUGH BALLS

Wholly Wholesome, Chester, N.J., added pizza dough balls to its line of gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free products. The pizza dough comes in a freezer-friendly package and can be rolled into various shapes and sizes for desired baking needs. It’s available exclusively at Wegmans through December, and will expand into additional retailers nationwide beginning January 2014.

 

GLUTEN-FREE PERSONAL PIZZA

Better4U Foods, Delray Beach, Fla., introduced a gluten-free personal version of their frozen Multigrain gluten-free pizzas. Each personal size contains 15 grams of whole grains and is said to be lower in calories, fat, saturated fat and sodium (per serving) than competing frozen pizzas. The line boasts a suggested retail price of $5.99-6.99.

 

ANGEL FOOD CAKE

Chicago-based Sara Lee Corp. introduced Angel Food Cake, a classic and versatile dessert option perfect for any occasion. Each cake is 130 calories per serving, offers thaw-and-serve convenience and can be customized with fruit, whipped toppings, chocolate sauce or frozen yogurt.

 Pepperidge Farm, Norwalk, Conn., is ringing in this holiday season with new Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Cups.
