CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR RANGE
Atlas Copco’s Oil-free Air division launched an energy-efficient centrifugal compressor range, designed to save up to 7% on specific energy at full load and up to another 9% at part load. Composed as a plug-and-run package, the ZH 355+ - 900+ oil-free centrifugal compressor range employs advanced aerodynamics to reduce energy consumption in the core. All of the components are created based on Computational Flow Dynamic (CFD) analysis to drastically reduce pressure drops in the package.

ROTARY SCREW COMPRESSOR
Kaeser Compressors’ newly redesigned BSD rotary screw compressor series is available in 40, 50 and 60 hp with flows from 157-294 cfm and pressures to 217 psig. Specific power is improved by up to 6%. In addition, built-in heat recovery options bring the energy savings potential to the next level. New features include an enhanced cooling design, eco-friendly filter element, integral moisture separator with drain and an Electronic Thermal Management system.

HYDRAULIC OIL-FREE FORMING MACHINE
PROVATEC’s new 760E Forming Machine uses absolutely no hydraulic oil, making for a more hygienic process. The 760E provides accurate weights, minimum leakage and rapid changeover while processing formed products. A rotary vane pump feed system gently portions product with minimal product working. The vane pump feeds directly to the mold plate cavity without product backflow or bridging. Though completely electric, it is said to use less electricity than other machines its size, while forming food at a faster pace.
