Sea Watch International Ltd., Easton, Md., introduced Seafood Stuffing, a blend of clams, crab and lobster with breadcrumbs, herbs, spices and a little cheese.
“We have taken the work out of creating your own stuffing. In the wake of rising seafood prices, this product allows operators to dress up less glamorous seafood and create greater menu value. It looks and tastes like it was made from scratch,” says Guy Simmons, vice president of marketing and product development. “The stuffing can be used in many different applications, such as stuffed vegetables, stuffed seafood or stuffing your favorite protein; options are endless.”
The stuffing also comes in half-ounce nuggets, giving restaurant operators the flexibility of using three nuggets to stuff a piece of fish or one to stuff a mushroom cap or shrimp.
