Scallops for Foodservice
High Liner Foods Inc., Danvers, Mass., launched an American Pride Seafood brand scallop line for foodservice operators.
“Scallops are a highly sought-after item on many restaurant menus, whether as an appetizer, pasta topper or dinner entrée,” says Kerry Clift, marketing manager for American Pride Seafood, which High Liner Foods acquired in October 2013. "With American Pride Seafood scallops from High Liner Foods, it has never been easier for all operators to profitably menu scallops, not just fine dining restaurants."
The American Pride Seafood brand scallop portfolio features all-natural domestic scallops harvested in the North Atlantic and landed in New Bedford, Mass.
