UK-based Linx Printing Technologies Ltd. opened a new headquarters in China to provide sales and service to its growing customer base in that region.

Located in Shanghai, the new office will promote, support and supply Linx’s extensive range of coding technologies, including continuous inkjet, thermal inkjet and laser, enabling the company to provide a fast response.

Linx is said to be one of the first coder manufacturers to operate in China, first establishing a presence in 1993 via a local distributor Diagraph, which the company subsequently acquired in 1999. The new China headquarters team will work with the comprehensive Linx authorized distribution network to maximize opportunities in this fast-growing sector.

“Our China business has grown rapidly over the past three years, and we are confident in our ability to grow it even more quickly in the future,” says Nigel Hood, managing director. “We have set ourselves ambitious targets, but we have the right team and the right support to meet and exceed these.”
