Minneapolis-based Bellisio Foods partnered with Chili’s Grill & Bar, a Dallas, Texas-based division of Brinker International, Inc., to introduce a new line of licensed Chili’s-inspired frozen meals for consumers to serve at home.
“We are excited to introduce our Chili’s licensed frozen food products, which will give consumers great new options for serving bold-flavored meals at home,” says Mark Toth, vice president of marketing. “Our research indicates that consumers are craving bold taste and flavors in their frozen food choices. As one of the leading casual dining restaurant chains with a distinguished flavor profile, Chili’s menu items are familiar to many people. Now, families can enjoy dishes that are inspired by Chili’s southwestern heritage when they choose to eat at home.”
The new line of single-serve entrées includes Bacon Mac ‘N’ Cheese, Cajun-Style Chicken Alfredo, Cheesy Chicken Pasta Florentine, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Chicken Fajita Rice Bowl, Island Chicken & Rice, Mango Chicken with Rice and Pepper Jack Mac ‘N’ Cheese, while the multi-serve meals include Bacon Mac ‘N’ Cheese, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Chicken Fajita Rice, Nacho Potatoes with Beef & Bacon and Seasoned Chicken Bites with Honey Chipotle Sauce.
The new frozen line is available at major retailers nationwide, including Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Food Lion, H-E-B, Meijer, Giant Eagle, Schnucks and more with the single-serve entrées boasting a suggested retail price of $2.79-3.49 per a 10-ounce package and $6.99-7.99 for a multi-serve meal in a 22-ounce package.
