Gordon Food Service, Grand Rapids, Mich., acquired Halperns’ Steak and Seafood Co., based in Atlanta.

Founded in 2005, Halperns’ has become a leading specialty distributor of high-quality meats and seafood. It currently operates four production and distribution facilities in Atlanta, Baltimore, Md.; Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
