Omnitracs, LLC, a provider of fleet management solutions for transportation and logistics companies, opened its new headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

The new headquarters features a sleek, modern open floor plan designed to inspire collaboration, promote cross-functional project management and eliminate organizational silos.

Omnitracs’ move brings more than 450 new jobs to Dallas and represents a $10 million capital investment. Serving more than 30,000 fleets across the United States, Canada and Latin America, the Dallas location situates Omnitracs centrally to many of its fleet customers and partners.

“The Omnitracs executive team, our employees and I are thrilled to call Dallas our new home,” says John Graham, chief executive officer. “Since the early stages of our conversations with the Texas Economic Development Council, we were convinced of the merits of establishing our new corporate headquarters in this thriving business-friendly community. We were attracted to this great city because of its top technical and business talent, the proximity and ease of access to many of our customers across the country and the pivotal role Dallas plays as a hub for much of our nation’s transportation infrastructure.”

The company is also committed to corporate social responsibility and supports programs designed to steer the best and brightest into training and degree programs, preparing them for careers in the technology sector of the transportation and logistics industry.

“I am pleased to announce the upcoming launch of an internship program engaging students from both Dallas’ Science & Engineering Magnet School at Townview Center and the University of North Texas’ transportation management/logistics program,” adds Graham. “Each of these educational institutions has a focus on preparing students for success in the increasingly competitive workplaces of today and tomorrow, and we are confident that these internships will be beneficial to the student participants.”
