Inland, La Crosse, Wis., acquired Valley Label Co., LLC, a flexographic printer of flexible packaging, pressure sensitive, shrink and roll-fed labels. Valley Label employs 35 people at its 48,400-square-foot headquarters facility in Neenah, Wis.

Inland plans to capitalize on the newly acquired company by maintaining and growing the existing business with plans to include new business. The plant will serve as an addition to Inland's three facilities in La Crosse, Wis., and one facility in Downingtown, Pa. The corporate office will remain in La Crosse.

This move follows the acquisition of Monet Graphics, a flexographic printer of labels and coupons based in Downingtown, Pa.

"While the acquisition last fall was focused on supporting our rapid growth in the pressure-sensitive category, the purchase of Valley Label is motivated by growth in the flexible packaging market, in addition to expanding our shrink and roll-fed label capabilities,” says Mark Glendenning, owner and CEO of Inland.
