Schweid & Sons, Carlstadt, N.J., a ground beef purveyor that supplies premier foodservice and retail operations nationwide, opened a cutting-edge ground beef processing facility in College Park, Ga.

The new 66,000-square-foot facility is Schweid & Sons first-ever expansion, creating 90-plus jobs. The facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to produce high-quality fresh and frozen products. The facility’s location also cuts down transportation time for customers located in the south, south central and lower Midwest regions of the United States.
