TheFood Marketing Institute, Arlington, Va., said it hiredPamela Stegemanas vice president, business planning and development, a new position. FMI said Stegeman -- previously with the pet industry and Grocery Manufacturers Association -- will be responsible for leading, developing and integrating "value creation, revenue generation, new business and community development activities" for FMI. 

Metal conveyor belting supplierCambridge International, Cambridge, Md., said it promoted 18-year veteran Tracy Tylerto become the company's new president and CEO; andTom Rossas chief operating officer. Both moves follow  retirement of current President & CEOBill Colson. Tyler, 45, most recently was vice president of sales and marketing. Ross, 37, joins Cambridge as COO. He formerly managed several plants for Standard Register Co. and previously worked at Eaton Corp.
