The world's largest cold supply chain group, the Global Cold Chain Alliance, Alexandria, Va., said it has published its 2010 Global Cold Chain Directory.

Officials say more than 3,000 cold chain professionals worldwide use the publication. Users include members of several international food industry associations and all members of the National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA).

The directory includes more than 500 pages of listings of cold chain providers from 67 countries. These providers are members of the Core Partners of GCCA, which represent all major industries engaged in temperature-controlled logistics.

Providers are listed within the following sections:

  • Warehouses – International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW)

  • Transportation – International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA)

  • Construction – International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC)

  • Research & Education – World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO)

  • Cold Chain Products & Services – IARW associate members

Key government officials and the cold chain and food industry trade press also receive the directory.
Within the six color-coded sections, food manufacturers, distributors, and retailers will find an international selection of cold storage warehouses, refrigerated transportation companies, cold storage design experts and companies charged with providing support services to the cold chain industry. It also includes a detailed index that makes it easy to find any company or association.

Officials say this year’s directory also features an extended section on the newest GCCA Core Partner, the International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration.
