Food packaging equipment supplierPro Mach, Inc., Cincinnati, said it was acquired byThe Resolute Fund II, L.P.for an undisclosed amount fromOdyssey Investment Partners, LLC. Resolute is an affiliate ofThe Jordan Company, a New York, N.Y.-based investment group.

“We are proud to announce our new ownership under The Jordan Company,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach president and CEO. “Our management team and I look forward to partnering with them to accelerate our growth strategy and build on our position as one of the largest packaging machinery manufacturers in North America.”

Pro Mach equipment brands include Allpax, Axon, Brenton, Currie by Brenton, Dekka, Fowler, ID Technology, IPak, LSI, Orion, Ossid, Rennco, Roberts PolyPro, Shuttleworth, Wexxar/Bel, and ProCustomer.



The Middleby Corporation, Elgin, Ill., said it purchased meat processing equipment supplierSFK-Danfotech Inc., Kansas City, Mo., for an undisclosed amountSFK systems A/S. well established as a supplier of restaurant and in-store deli food equipment, Middleby said it purchased Danfotech to expand its food processing platform.

Danfotech has annual sales of approximately $5 million, officials said. Danfotech products include meat tenderizers, tumblers, presses and defrosting systems.
