Fundamentals of Food Grade Grease
Incidental food contact registered greases are commonly used lubricants in food and beverage facilities. There are advantages and disadvantages to grease compared to other types of lubricants. Various base fluid types and thickeners available for grease formulation provide different characteristics to choose from. Bench tests measure these characteristics and help in determining how grease will behave in use.
