Toyota invests in new fitness center for employees, families
Toyota Industrial Equipmentannounced a construction project to add a new building to its North American Columbus, Ind., corporate headquarters. The 2-story facility, temporarily named the Toyota Active Life Center, will provide an easily accessible physical fitness center for associates and their families to enjoy at no cost.
The Toyota Active Life Center will include an exercise room, indoor track, two indoor courts for basketball, volleyball and a variety of other sports and a recreation room. The building will have all of the amenities of a modern fitness center, including a yoga room, free weights, treadmills and other fitness equipment. The new facility will also include a medical center to provide primary healthcare, wellness coaching, physical therapy and a full-line pharmacy at no cost to associates and their families.
