Greenhouse Juice to add cold pasteurization technologies to organic juice processing plant
Greenhouse Juice’s new cold pasteurization technologies are said to be the first to hit a Canada-based processing plant.
Greenhouse Juice Co., Canada, announced plans to add cold pasteurization technologies to its organic juice processing plant to help increase the shelf life of its organic juices while maintaining nutrition and freshness.
Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Member of Parliament for Mississauga–Malton, Navdeep Bains, and the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Lawrence MacAulay, invested up to $6.3 million to the project, which enables Greenhouse Juice to expand its new Mississauga facility, generating hundreds of job opportunities in the region. Greenhouse Juice will also purchase significantly more Canadian-grown fruits and vegetables and be able to produce juice for both Canadian and international markets.
