The Reiser Flex-Line is a ground meat processing-to-packaging solution for the high-speed, high-volume production of portioned loaves, patties and meatballs. The Flex-Line system starts with a Vemag HP-E Series portioner, which features a positive displacement double-screw pump that transports product without smearing. The next part of the system is the “flex” equipment, which includes the Vemag MMP ground meat former, the Vemag FM250 patty former and the Vemag BC236 meatball former. Each of these machines quickly and easily roll in and out of the line, so that processors can conduct fast changeovers from one portion size to another. After the ground meat product is portioned and formed, it is conveyed to the inline Vemag Process Check, where portion weights are checked and confirmed. The final step is the packaging. Smart conveyors move the ground meat product from the Process Check to the packaging system, which consists of either the Repak horizontal form-fill-seal packaging machine for vacuum packaging or the Ross Tray Sealer for MAP packaging.
