Increased quality and a greater focus on digitization in factories are two key trends identified in a recent global survey of 120 decision-makers in the international food and beverage industry.
The research, carried out by CSB-System International, Willowbrook, Ill., revealed that respondents were optimistic about future prospects, expecting the economic situation for their businesses to pick up in the years to come. In fact, half of the respondents specified quality, freshness and innovations as key drivers in defining product leadership.
