ASSOCIATIONS/ORGANIZATIONS: American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), Elmhurst, Ill. Blake Anderson was named new chief executive officer, effective June 30, succeeding David Thomas, who announced plans to retire. Anderson maintains over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development working for leading ingredient and food manufactures. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of new business development at California Dairies, Inc. (CDI), where he oversaw sales, marketing and business development and profit and loss for the global butter, processed fluids, cream cheese and nutritional powders business. Prior to joining CDI, Anderson was the global director for premium ingredients and customer development for Fonterra, where he managed relationships with global food companies and oversaw ingredients operations in North America, Europe and North Asia (Japan and Korea). Prior to Fonterra, Anderson spent 15-plus years in leadership positions in sales, marketing and business development for Symrise, Inc., Dean Specialty Foods Group and Campbell Soup Co.
