The 72,000-square-foot plant will be restored with state-of-the-art processing equipment.
House of Raeford Farms, Rose Hill, N.C., announced plans to sell its Mocksville, N.C.-based chicken cook plant to Brakebush Brothers, Inc., Westfield, Wis.
In December 2017, the House of Raeford facility was badly damaged in a fire. The 72,000-square-foot plant will be restored with state-of-the-art processing equipment, and will accommodate three production lines, when fully utilized. The facility, which first opened doors, is projected to be completed by early 2019.
