Acuity Brands, Inc., Atlanta, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc., announced plans to acquire The Luminaires Group (TLG), a Canada-based provider of specification-grade luminaires for commercial markets, among others. TLG’s indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures are marketed to architects and engineers under the a-light, Cyclone, Eureka, Luminaire LED and Luminis brands.
