Blockchain spend in the agriculture industry increased at 129.3% during 2018 to reach $258 million, and is expected to record a CAGR of 48.8%, increasing from $524.8 million in 2019 to $8,489 million by 2025, according to a report produced by Research and Markets, Ireland.
The report details the way different parts of the cow (meat, milk, collagen and leather) and the markets they serve will be disrupted separately and concurrently by different technologies and business-model innovations.
