Honor Foods, a Burris Logistics company, is in the final stage of moving its current Philadelphia operation from its North 5th Street location to a new warehouse at 5505 Tacony Street. The final day of business in its current location will be Thursday, January 7, preparing for a Monday, January 11 opening of the new warehouse. Honor Foods worked closely with the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation to identify a suitable site within the city, eventually choosing a 20-acre parcel sitting within the former Frankford Military Arsenal site that closed in 1977.
Project will be the fifth cold storage facility for FreezePak in the state.

FreezPak Logistics and Elizabeth and Newark officials announced today a project that will see the construction of a 140,000 square foot, state-of-the-art freezer warehouse facility. The project is located at the corner of Newark Avenue and Virginia Street on the border of Elizabeth and Newark. Elberon and Fidelco are co-developers in the project.
Heavyweight Handler provides facilities an efficient alternative to address current surge in bulky, irregularly shaped items.

Hyster announces the industry’s first fully commercialized solution dedicated to simplifying the otherwise time-consuming and labor-intensive process of manually loading and unloading flat-pack and odd-shaped items. The Hyster T7ZAC Heavyweight Handler uses a ground-level platform that slides under items in tandem with a long, tilting load backrest to pick up and support items during transport.
These markets registered demand for industrial and logistics real estate that outpaced their supply by a collective 89 million square feet since 2013.
