KM Packaging is pleased to announce the release of K-Peel 4G, a new mono PET lidding film specification.

K-Peel 4G boasts a low seal initiation point and is capable of sealing through contamination. Clean peels are achievable from as little as 110 degrees Celsius and 0.3 seconds dwell time.

This low seal initiation point also means it’s compatible with all PET trays and provides a clean, strong, peels for APET and rPET trays. Trays which present sealing challenges because of thickness or available sealing area are also a key area where for K-Peel 4G can perform well.

K-Peel 4G offers a clean peel for ambient, chilled or frozen applications and is ovenable. Additionally, it has anti-fog properties, being compliant to OM7 migration testing, giving it a vast range of use cases across the breadth of the food industry.

The material is available in two gauges, 21 microns and 25 microns. This lower gauge can make it the right choice for reducing the thickness of films in production
