Schuman tapped as Schwan chairman

The Schwan Food Company, Marshall, Minn., said its board of directors elected Allan Schuman as the company's non-executive chairman of the board. Schuman has served on Schwan's board since 2001 and is a former president, CEO and chairman of Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, Minn. He replaces Alfred Schwan who retired in December.
In related news, Schwan said Greg Flack also was appointed to serve on the company's board. This is in addition to his duties as Schwan president, CEO and chief operating officer.
