Cargill's Bowe joins Schwan board
Officials said Bowe has nearly 30 years of experience in the food industry, spending the last 25 years with Cargill, Inc. He is currently a corporate vice president with Cargill and leads its multibillion-dollar food-ingredients business.
“Mr. Bowe’s passion for the food business and his broad experience within the industry will make him a trusted adviser as The Schwan Food Company pursues its growth strategy,” said Allan Schuman, Schwan chairman. “Mr. Bowe has built a solid reputation of achieving results and doing so with the highest level of integrity.”
Bowe earned a master’s degree in economics from the Food Research Institute in Palo Alto, Calif., and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University in Palo Alto.
In addition to serving on Schwan’s board of directors, Bowe also serves on the board of Fabcon Inc., a privately held company that produces structural fabricated concrete wall panels; and as a director on the board of Global Bio-Chem Technology Group, a publicly listed company.
