Interstate Warehousing Inc., Ft. Wayne, Ind., said it expects by June to complete an 80,000-square-foot addition to its Murfreesboro, Tenn., cold storage warehouse, near Nashville. The expansion -- Murfreesboro's third since 2006 -- will take the site to 242,000 square feet. ATippmann Groupcompany, Interstate said it also expects by June to complete a 90,000-square-foot expansion to its Hamilton, Ohio, (Cincinnati) cold storage warehouse. Interstate has eight facilities in  Indianapolis and Franklin, Ind.; Cincinnati; Chicago; Nashville; Denver; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Newport News, Va.

PECO Pallet Inc., Yonkers, N.Y., said it agreed to a purchase byThe Pritzker Group, a private investment firm owned and controlled by J.B. Pritzker and Tony Pritzker. Terms  were not disclosed. PECO officials said the deal "provides PECO Pallet with substantial equity capital to fund the company's continued expansion throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico." PECO is a North American leader in pallet rental services and uses a signature red block pallets.
