METAL-DETECTABLE PLASTIC COMPONENTS
Packaged with metal-detectable plastic components, LPS DETEX products protect against foreign object contamination. Used in food manufacturing, processing and packaging facilities, the products include six NSF H1-registered lubricants and two NSF-registered K2 electronic cleaners. The lubricants are suitable for applications where incidental food contact may occur, including during processing. The cleaners remove dirt, grime, moisture and oxides from electronic equipment in all manufacturing areas when food is not being processed. Available in 16-ounce aerosol containers, all the products include a metal-detectable extension tube to narrow the spray stream.

FOOD MACHINERY-GRADE LUBRICANTS

SYNTHETIC FLUID GEAR GREASE
Klüberfood NH1 94-6000 synthetic fluid gear grease is based on refined synthetic hydrocarbon and a calcium complex soap thickener. NSF H1 registered, it is safe for incidental, technically unavoidable, food contact. The grease provides wear and corrosion protection and water resistance in refrigerated environments. Applied through a central lubrication system, it can be used as gear grease for the immersion lubrication of toothed and worm gears or chains, as well as other friction points such as bearings and linear guides.

Bel-Ray No-Tox Food Grade Dry PTFE Spray—a new multi-purpose, dry film lubricant in aerosol form—has been NSF-H1 approved for use in “clean industry” applications. This new spray is fortified with polytetrafluoroethylene, a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, which is said to offer one of the lowest coefficients of friction against a solid surface. It is designed for “incidental contact” lubrication applications in food processing. The user-friendly formula does not affect plastic or painted surfaces, and remains water-resistant after application.
