Tyson Foods Adds Cold Storage Capabilities to Fresh Meats Facility

Tyson Foods Inc., Springdale, Ark., announced plans to expand its Goodlettsville, Tenn., Fresh Meats plant, to include four additional production lines and expanded cold storage capabilities.

The chicken, beef and pork processor invested $15.5 million and will add 157 new employees.

This announcement comes on the heels of Tyson Foods receiving Refrigerated & Frozen Foods' 2014 Sustainable Supply Chain of the Year award.
