Herkules Equipment Corp., Walled Lake, Mich., introduced a new lightweight, quiet and cost-efficient ceiling fan for cooling large warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

The vertical, tri-pole mount ceiling fan improves air movement, reaching over 300 feet away. These ceiling fans’ unique motor and blade design consumes a small amount of energy, just 500 watts at full power. The fan’s lightweight is due to its patent-applied blade design using aircraft-grade aluminum that encases a polyurethane foam core, with each blade weighing only 1.5 pounds.

The fan is also unique due to the brushless, direct drive motor with neodymium permanent rare earth magnets. The zero maintenance motor has no belts, drives, gears or pulleys that need replacing and is fully sealed and resists corrosion.
