Weather- and Shock-Resistant Façade System
Deland, Fla.-based Kingspan Insulated Panels North America introduced BENCHMARK By Kingspan engineered façade systems, which utilize advanced insulated 
metal panel technology to deliver a high-performance building envelope.
In this process, conventional complexities in design and build are eliminated. Immediately upon installation, the façade is removed from the critical path, the entire building is sealed weathertight and all interior fit-out work can get underway.
Façade systems consist of an insulated metal panel barrier wall, an integrated rail and a designer’s choice of cladding. This single-sourced solution requires far less project coordination to create what is said to be one of the most energy-efficient building envelopes available. This fully warranted system features integrated joint and rails to eliminate penetrations.
Possible applications include aluminum composite material, a lightweight composite consisting of two aluminum cover sheets and a core made of polyethylene. There is also metal composite material, a lightweight composite material consisting of two metal cover sheets and a core made of polyethylene. Both are simple and versatile products that can deliver an easy-to-install, weather-resistant, unbreakable and shock-resistant façade.
