UltraShipTMS, Fair Lawn, N.J.,rolled out UltraShipYMS, a yard management system (YMS) module that helps supply chain managers keep track of tractors, trailers and freight that enter, dwell and exit their freight yards, warehouses and distribution centers.   

The new YMS tool provides visibility into counts of loaded trailers, empty trailers, available tractors and their respective maintenance statuses. It even permits gate security personnel to log photos of product and equipment condition upon yard entry and/or exit.

UltraShipYMS integrates with the UltraShipTMS suite of cloud-based logistics tools and can also be engaged as stand-alone software for shippers using other transportation management solutions.
