Michigan Manufacturing International(MMI) completed a 20,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters in Stevensville, Md. This was done in preparation for future growth as well as to accommodate tenants seeking affordable, high-quality workspaces in a new facility that also has a view of the Chesapeake Bay.

The addition to the facility can be divided into nine spaces with each suite having its own separate 480-volt electric service. The building is protected by a full sprinkler system that allows open racking to heights up to 17 feet. Other storage methods can reach elevations up to the 24-foot clear ceiling.

“This expansion is in response to the growing demand for our products and services, both domestically and globally,” says Jacob Prak, chief executive officer. “The additional space will enable us to meet our customers’ needs by allowing for the installation of new machinery, increasing our warehouse storage capacity and adding workspace for our personnel.”

MMI specializes in supplying manufactured-to-print assemblies and components to original equipment manufacturers. Products include assemblies, castings, stampings, machined parts, gears, bearings and more.
