Lineage Logistics opens doors to new cold storage distribution center
The new distribution center deploys the latest technology for energy conservation, product handling and high-capacity blast freezing.
Lineage Logistics, a Colton, Calif.-based warehousing and logistics company sponsored by Bay Grove Capital LLC, San Francisco, officially opened the doors to its 180,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art cold storage distribution center in Charleston County, S.C. Located in the Palmetto Commerce Park at 7748 Palmetto Commerce Parkway, the new facility offers immediate access to the Port of Charleston and I-26, with regular rail service through Norfolk Southern.

South Carolina’s numerous business advantages, in addition to the booming market, are helping Lineage to better service our export and import customers, as well as our domestic shipping partners. The new distribution center deploys the latest technology for energy conservation, product handling and high-capacity blast freezing. It’s designed to provide customers a highly efficient solution for exporting products to foreign markets and expediting domestic access to imported products.
Services at the Charleston facility include rail and transload, freight consolidation, blast freezing, drayage, import/export and custom labeling and stamping. The 21-acre lot features 30 truck doors and four rail doors, as well as 100 parking spaces.
