Liqui-Box, Richmond, Va.-based provider of flexible liquid packaging solutions, signed a definitive agreement to acquire both the engineering and flexible operations of Maverick, Cape Town, South Africa. Maverick Engineering manufactures bag-in-box-making equipment, while Maverick Flexibles designs and manufactures specialty films and laminates for food and beverage markets.
