R2 Logistics to open operations, sales HQs in Dallas

R2 Logistics, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., announced plans to open a 10,000-square-foot office in Dallas, Texas. The new office, which will consist of the entire 12th floor of the building at 4131 North Central Expressway, is scheduled to open Oct. 1, and will serve as the operations and sales headquarters.
“We are very excited about our continued growth and expansion in Dallas,” says Ben Gase, founder and CEO. “We have learned during the past five years that the area offers a strong talent pool, which we can leverage for our future growth. Texas is a very business-friendly state, and logistically, a central support center here makes sense for traveling between our branch network locations. In all facets of the business, our operations and sales headquarters will be a win for R2.”
R2 opened its first sales office in Dallas in 2012 with only three employees. Five years later, it increased the headcount to 40 employees. R2 plans to hire 50 more employees in Dallas over the next two years, in business development, carrier sales, executives, LTL operations, national sales, truckload operations and supply chain management.
