LM76, E. Longmeadow, Mass., introduced FDA/USDA/3-A Dairy compliant, snap-in ETX scraper seals for linear bearings. 

Machined from Ertalyte PET-P, ETX scraper seals boast high strength, excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction and excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures. Designed with a slight interference fit between bearing ID and shaft, ETX scraper seals prevent contaminates and debris from migrating beneath the seal as it scrapes the shaft surface.

Ideal for food and dairy processing applications, EXT scraper seals complete continuous service at temperatures up to 210°F and offer good chemical and abrasion resistance, low moisture absorption and resistance to staining. Snap-in EXT scraper seals are available for closed linear bearings and closed pillow and flange blocks.
