Badger Tag & Label opened a 22,000-square-foot facility at its Random Lake, Wis., location, which will serve as Badger’s main office, as well as the production areas for digital and flexographic printing and the rewind operations.

The facility, constructed by Keller Inc., Kaukauna, Wis., is located just east of Highway 57, off of County Road RR, east of Random Lake. The building is set on 12 acres, and is the company’s second facility in the Random Lake area; Badger Tag & Label will continue to utilize its original 30,000-square-foot building at 83 Bentert Street for its prepress department, letterpress printing and finishing operations.

The new building also boasts warehouse/storage and receiving areas, four flexographic presses for printing custom tags and labels, digital equipment and plotter cutter utilized for specialty projects and rewind machines.

The new building, which broke ground in May 2017, was also constructed with potential future expansion in mind.

“We’re already utilizing the new facility, and the expanded space has been instrumental in our continued growth,” says Kevin Kalkofen, vice president. “The grand opening introduced this state-of-the art building to our local community. Over the next few months, we’ll also be extending private tour invitations to our customers throughout the nation.”
